Details: On Friday 1 April 2016, the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and Technoport will be holding a TULIP Hackathon dedicated to innovations in Tangible User Interfaces.

Centered around the idea of 'A Framework for Developing Tangible User Interfaces Applications', the TULIP Hackathon will reveal research conducted by LIST aimed at helping adopters of Tangible User Interfaces technology to develop applications.

Following the initial information session, participants will be provided with the source code of TULIP and will receive access to one of LIST's tangible tabletop interfaces to explore TUI and develop their applications at their own pace. Thinking outside of the box will be encouraged for this day of innovation, at which researchers will be present to answer questions and offer guidance.

Everyone is welcome, although the event is predominantly geared towards software engineers, HCI engineers and students with a solid background in Java. The event will take place in English.
