Details: On Friday 5 February at 20:00, the CAPe (Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck) in Ettelbruck will host a production of the the musical comedy Cabaret being performed by the Chamber Opera Cologne.
The hugely successful and popular production includes a stream of unforgettable hits including Cabaret and Money, Money. Set in the early 1930s, guests attended the Kit-Kat Club in Berlin in which Sally Bowles is celebrated as a star as she sings Life is a Cabaret and others. Just like Berlin nightlife, she is vibrant and intoxicating, and between her cheap room at Fräulein Schneider's boarding house and the magnetic Kit-Kat Club, desires to become famous and loved. However, the coming to power of Hitler is the infallible sign of a dark period ahead...
Launched on Broadway in 1966 and brought to the screen in 1972 with Liza Minnelli - the film received eight Oscars! - the stunning show includes unforgettable hits.
