Details: The Folk-rock Band Schëppe Siwen (Seven of Spades in English) will launch their latest album "Sprëtztour" (Joyride in English) on Saturday 30 January 2016 at the Melusina club in Luxembourg-Clausen; doors open at 18:30 with the first band on stage at 19:15.

The band was formed in 2009; in 2012 they released their first studio album

Schëppe Siwen recorded the album last year in the Linster Studios in Luxembourg, with members of the band performing on the following instruments: Violin, accordeon, trumpet, electric guitar, bass, percussion and vocals.

The album will be released at the event also featuring seven other acts, as follows:

- Toxkäpp: Ska-P
- Falc'[ER]o: Acoustic Rock
- Luxembourg Pipe Band: Bagpipes with drums and snare
- Böf's: Saxophon quartet
- The spirit of the Highlands: Bagpipes with drums and snare
- Mambo Schinki: Electric organ
- DJ Djails

Pre-sale tickets cost €15 which includes a free copy of the new Schëppe Siwen album Sprëtztour. Tickets will also be available at the door for €10 (without CD).

Food and drinks can be purchased in the club.
