Details: The 189th annual Éimaischen takes place this year on Easter Monday, Monday 28 March 2016, in Luxembourg's city centre. As every year, the Easter festivities herald the arrival of traditional Éimaischen market with its famous "Peckvillercher" (ceramic bird whistles) which takes place on Easter Monday between 08:00 and 18:00 in the historic streets of the old city, around the Grand Ducal Palace.
Also, Nospelt in the west of the Grand Duchy hosts its annual Easter Market that same day.
