Details: UK Comedian Adam Bloom will perform at the Konrad Comedy Club in Luxembourg city on both 16 and 17 December 2015, with both performances at 20:30.
Konrad Comedy Club will host its last shows of 2015 in the week before Christmas featuring UK comic Adam Bloom who has been described by The Standard as “a jabby-fingered whirlwind.”
Without seeming rude, Adam can be justifiably called a veteran of the UK comedy circuit. Indeed, he showed signs of promise as a performer at an early age - the story goes that his parents had nicknamed him “the voice” when he was just 18 months.
He turned professional in his early twenties and by 1996, at the age of 25, he had played his first Edinburgh Festival. He was named best stand-up in the Time Out awards in 1998 and nominated for best club comic in the 2012 Chortle awards. He has also appeared at Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and at the Melbourne Comedy Festival (where he was nominated for the 1999 Stella Artois award).
Adam may also be familiar to some TV viewers from appearances on Mock The Week and Russell Howard’s Good News. One reviewer described him as “one of the circuit’s best joke craftsmen, always wrong-footing expectations.” He has enjoyed endorsements from celebrities as diverse as Ricky Gervais, Gerry Sadowitz and Sir Ian McKellen, and the organisers are sure he will receive accolades from the audiences at Konrad Comedy Club on 16 and 17 December.
