Details: STEP Benelux has announced details of a 'Lunch and Learn' event being held on Thursday 21 January 2016 at 12:00 at Cercle Munster (5-7 rue Munster, L-2160 Luxembourg-Grund).
The presentation on “Life Assurance in Estate Planning for UK Clients" will be presented by Simon Gorbutt TEP and Steve Sayer TEP, Lombard International Assurance S.A.
Simon Gorbutt is a Solicitor, qualified in England and Wales, who has spent the last 9 years in Luxembourg specialising in cross-border wealth planning for high net worth
individuals. Simon heads an in-house team with a special focus on UK resident & expatriate clients as part of Lombard International Assurance's Wealth Structuring Solutions capability.
Steve Sayer is an independent wealth planner based in the UK. He has more than 20 years of industry experience providing tax and technical expertise in connection with life assurance. Steve’s focus areas are UK inheritance tax, resident non-domiciled planning and the combination of life policies with trusts and other structures.
CONTENT: The presentation will look at some of the insurance-based planning techniques available to UK clients and particularly those individuals who are domiciled or deemed domiciled, or may become so under the 2017 rules.
TIMETABLE: Meet from 12:00, lunch will begin at 12.30 and the meeting will end at 14.00.
