Details: Den Danske Kirke, the Danish Church in Luxembourg, is organising its traditional Christmas Market this Saturday 21 November 2015 from 10:00 - 16:00 at the Salle Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

The event will be officially opened by Corinne Cahen, Luxembourg's Minister for the Family and Integration, and Louise Bang Jespersen, the Danish Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg.

The annual event is traditionally a joyful and colourful occasion, presenting an opportunity to purchase Christmas presents:

• Gift ideas – Danish design items
• Exclusive Nordic Christmas decorations
• Raffle with wonderful prizes
• Second-hand shop with clothes, books, DVDs and CDs (also in English)

In addition, there will be many Christmas spirit and treats:

• Danish smørrebrød an hotdogs
• Bar
• Coffee, cakes, Æbleskiver and Gløgg (Christmas doughnuts and mulled wine)

An there will be a lot of Christmas fun too:

• Children’s tombola
• Children’s playground and activity centre

Proceeds will go towards the Danish Church in Luxembourg.
