Details: In collaboration with the Friends of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (OPL), the Festival of Wiltz is organising a concert with Catherine Beynon (harp), Fabian Perdichizzi (violin) and Ilya Laporev (cello) on Saturday 21 November at 20:15 in the Knights Hall of the castle.
Catherine Beynon will play on the new harp from the Salvi workshops. She was appointed harpist soloist of the OPL in 2003.
Fabian Perdichizzi (violin) holds the position of first soloist with the OPL and is part of Louvigny Quartet.
Ilia Laporev became first cello of the OPL in 2006. He taught the cello at the Conservatories of Ghent and Antwerp. He gives "Master Classes" in Russia, Holland, Belgium, Portugal and South Africa.
The programme will include: Trio for violin, cello and harp by Joseph Haydn; Fantasy for violin and harp op. 124 Camille Saint-Saëns, Passaglia for violin and cello oby Johan Halverson, and Trio for violin, cello and harp by Henriette Renie.
