On Thursday 12 November 2015, the Luxembourg School of Finance of the University of Luxembourg will be holding a lunch seminar on 'The Informational Value of Patents in Banking Relationships'.
Farzad Saidi of the University of Cambridge will be present to offer a speech centered around the question of 'Is there a trade-off between patenting and secrecy for innovating firms, and if so, how does it interact with financial relationships?' In order to shed light on these dynamics, he will highlight, amongst others, the American Investor's Protection Act of 1999 as a shock for innovation disclosure.
A lunch has been planned for registered participants.
