Details: The Ireland Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ILCC) will be holding an Evening Seminar on Tuesday 24 November 2015 at 18:00 at the Hotel Parc Belle-Vue (5 Avenue Marie-Thérèse, L-2132 Luxembourg) entitled "Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) - Education for Europe's Future".
Today, more than ever, education plays a hugely important role in economic prosperity and competitiveness, with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at the forefront of innovation. Policymakers need to base decisions from research and development which will drive industry in the future, as well as education policy and curriculum choices for schools and universities. On the other hand, some might oppose what they see as Universities moving from their traditional role of higher learning to one of vocational teaching.
This seminar aims at exploring the issues involved in the processes of critical thinking, analysis and collaboration by bringing together three renowned experts from Ireland and Luxembourg, bringing both the academic and industry perspectives.
The event is being sponsored by the Kerry Group Luxembourg office.
