Details: This Sunday, 26 July 2015, from 11:00 to 19:00, the train 1900 at Fond-de-Gras is organising its second Old-timer Day aimed at the general public.
After its great success last year, this year's edition promises to be one of the most anticipated events of the season at Fond-de-Gras in the south-west of the Grand Duchy.
With the participation of more than 70 vintage cars, the previous edition of the Old Body Day attracted a large number of international visitors. This year, the Fond-de-Gras will once again host a fine collection of pre-1970 vintage cars: Chevrolet, Citroën, Dodge, Ford, Mercedes, Opel, Renault, Peugeot, Simca, Triumph, VW...
Grilled meat and refreshments will be available throughout the day at the station buffet (1 Old-timer = 1 train ticket + 2 drinks + 1 grilled sausage)
Direct access to the Fond-de-Gras is possible from Niederkorn, but given the limited number of parking spaces in Fond-de-Gras, it is recommended to take the TRAIN 1900 from Pétange at the following times:
- Diesel train: 11:00h, 13:27, 15:05 and 17:05.
- Steam train: 14:15 and 16:15.
