Details: The Philharmonie is offering an evening with a combination of silent film and live music  which will take place in the Grand Auditorium on 16 June 2016 at 20:00.

"Ben Hur" Directed by Fred Niblo in 1907 has the biggest budget ever for a silent film. This was possible by filming legendary scenes, including the famous chariot race, in grandiose Italian settings.

The music is composed by Stewart Copeland who will be on drums, and will be conducted by Richard Kaufman.

Coproduction Cinémathèque Luxembourg City and Philharmonie of Luxembourg.
