Details: On Wednesday 18 March 2015 at 20:00, the Centre des Arts Pluriels d’Ettelbruck (CAPe) will host a concert of Scandinavian Chamber Music.

The three Scandinavian composers Franz Berwald, Carl Nielsen and Magnus Lindberg will be the focus of this KammerMusekVeräin Lëtzebuerg (KMVL) concert. The music of northern Europe bears many hallmarks, sometimes rough like ice blocks with sharp edges, and sometimes delicate and melancholy as a warm summer day ... More than most of their counterparts in central Europe, the Scandinavian composers show inspired by the vastness and the stark beauty of nature. Another central theme of their work is the search for an identity, which is distinct from that of traditionally dominant music nations. Just like their personalities and their lives, these three composers offer us many different musical proposals. Embark with the musicians of KMVL for this northern expedition and experience the spirit of Nielsen, the harshness of Lindberg and subtle romance ofBerwald...
