Details: 2015 Luxembourg Internet Days to focus on FinTech, Cloud and Security
LU-CIX has announced that the 2015 Luxembourg Internet Days will take place at the Chambre de Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on 7 - 8 December 2015.
“Back in 2012, LU-CIX took the challenge to enlarge its understanding of "connectivity" from a mere data exchange platform to a knowledge and ideas exchange. The smashing success of the 2014 editions has challenged us to provide Luxembourg and the Greater Region with an even more compelling line-up of themes and speakers for the 2015 venue, this the more so as Luxembourg’s Presidency of the European Union and its focus on ICT subjects provides an excellent framework" said Frédérique Ulrich, Business Development Manager for LU-CIX and event organiser and coordinator.
This year’s event will gravitate around FinTech, Cloud and Security topics, off the beaten tracks. Following its track record, blending technical and business aspects, Luxembourg Internet Days will again rely on its successful formula of "one venue, two days, three events": luxembourg-fintech.com will underline the achievements of the growing FinTech sector and set the pace – thanks to insights from guest speakers – of future joint ICT-FinTech innovations. Luxembourg-cloud.com will scrutinise the promises, challenges … and today’s realities around the “perfect cloud” as a sine qua non of the “Internet of Things”, while Luxembourg-security.com will focus on identity and data protection and the need of awareness building around the risks inherent to the ubiquitous connexion of today’s ICT users.
High-level conferences and discussion panels on-stage, as well as speed-pitching, speed-dating opportunities off-stage and an Expo will allow attendees to consider their approach to their markets and their business ventures under a new light, from a mere fine-tuning to a radical
