Details: The autumn line-up of the Konrad Comedy Club will see three stand-up comics come to Luxembourg and perform at the Konrad Comedy Club, each for two evenings.
22 & 23 September 2014: Jarlath Regan
In the past few years he has appeared on Ireland’s version of Mock The Week – The Panel. He recently completed his second illustrated book of his twisted greeting card collection which was published by Transworld Ireland for Random House in April 2011. The first book, “How To Break Bad News” became an instand best-seller and something of a cult classic. In January 2009 he made a little bit of history by becoming the first comedian to record a live album in Dublin’s Comedy Cellar – the venue that gave birth to Dara O’Brian, Tommy Tiernan and Dylan Moran.
15 & 16 October 2014: Rob Deering
Rob Deering is an English comedian, guitarist and writer. Rob was the host and writer of three series of Out to Lunch on BBC Radio 2. He also hosted 99 Things to Do Before You Die on Channel 5. In 2007, Deering appeared on a special edition of The Weakest Link, winning the show!! Deering also appeared on the Channel 4 quiz show Fifteen to One in 1997. Rob performs comedy-with-music throughout the UK and the world – he’s been everywhere from Harlow to Hong Kong, Phuket to Scunthorpe, Penzance to you-get-the-idea. Deering has appeared as a guest on shows including Banter, 4 at the Fringe on BBC Radio 4 and Jammin on BBC Radio 2. He has also guest starred in Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks. He is also a cult fan of James Bond and can be found entertaining sell-out crowds at the Edinburgh festival every year!
19 & 20 November: Zoe Lyons
The organisers are really looking forward to being joined by Zoe who created a huge buzz on the comedy circuit in 2004 when she won the ‘Nivea Funny Women Award 2004′ and reached the finals of ‘Channel 4′s So You Think You’re Funny Award’ in the same year. As a result she has become a highly sought after act on both the national and international circuit. Zoe takes a sideways view of life, picking out the many absurdities and turning them into hilarious routines which she delivers with tremendous energy.
