Details:
The Diplomatic Council (DC) Luxembourg Asbl has announced that it will host a lecture titled “10 Years from the Paris Agreement: Climate & Nature in a Fragmented World” at 18:30 on Wednesday 7 October 2026, at the Hotel Parc Belair in Luxembourg-Ville.
The lecture will be given by Adriana Gonzalez, who holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica and a Master’s from the University of Oldenburg, Germany in Science in Renewable Energies, specialising in photovoltaic and energy storage systems. She has also worked as an advisor to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP and is part of UN Women delegations as an expert advisor on climate change, gender and their relationship with technology.
The organisers explained that the lecture had originally been scheduled for an earlier date but was postponed because Adriana Gonzalez had been asked by the United Nations to prepare a report on a recent climate conference. As an advisor to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP, she was unable to decline the request.
The talk will be followed by refreshments and canapés.
Tickets cost €50. Registration and payment can be completed by contacting events@diplomaticcouncil.eu.
