Rotondes will host KnowEdge's "Open Floor: Funk and Disco" session on Monday 29 June 2026 at 20:00.
The session is open to participants aged 16 and over and celebrates freestyle dance styles performed to funk and disco music, including waacking, popping, locking and breaking. Designed as a safe and welcoming space, the event brings together beginners and experienced dancers to practise, exchange ideas and share their passion, sometimes accompanied by a DJ.
The session offers an opportunity to explore the music and dance styles that shaped club culture during the 1970s and 1980s.
First-time participants can attend free of charge. Organisers advise participants to check KnowEdge's Instagram stories before attending for any schedule changes or event updates.
