Details: On Tuesday evening, the City Open Air Cinema - With Orange was announced in Luxembourg city centre.
The summer outdoor cinema experience is organised in co-operation with the Ville de Luxembourg, the Cinematheque and Group Utopia.
A giant screen is being installed on the courtyard in front of the Grand Ducal Palace and films will be screened every evening from 26 July to 3 August.
In addition, the Open Air cinema will again take place in the charming setting of the courtyard of the Theatre of the Capuchins, on three weekends in August (every Friday and Saturday from 9 - 24 August, at 21:30).
The programme is varied and entertaining and includes 15 films in total: classics (North by Northwest by Alfred Hitchcock or Chaplin's The Great Dictator) or more contemporary films (Skyfall, the latest James Bond film) and cult films (Ghostbusters, Pulp Fiction).
The atmosphere of the City Open Air Cinema - With Orange is aimed to be friendly and relaxed, with animations and a brief introduction being provided before each sscreening. Spectators will also be able to enjoy drinks and snacks on site thanks to collaboration with the Chocolate House and Art Café. In case of bad weather, screenings will still be held and the Cinematheque offers the public availability of an "Open Air Survial Kit" consisting of a poncho and a water-proof cushion.
Access to all screenings is free-of-charge and open to the public.
