Details:

After a series of sold-out shows last season, High Fever, by aspiring young director Max Blom, is returning to the Théâtre National du Luxembourg (TNL) on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November 2025 at 19:30 and on Sunday 16 November 2025 at 17:00.

Synopsis: Don't freak out: if you think they are out to get you, you are not alone. Paranoia, once assumed to afflict only schizophrenics, may be a lot more common than previously thought. According to valid research, nearly one in four Londoners, for instance, regularly have paranoid thoughts. Still, some experts said that a tiny little bit of paranoia, in a world full of threat, may be kind of beneficial. Be on guard. See who is following you and what is happening. Not everybody is trying to get you, but some people may be. That is as comforting as it gets.

This "electrifying" show (in English) builds a story out of fragments, connecting a variety of short texts by Lydia Lunch, Eric Bogosian, Hunter S. Thompson, Patti Smith, Jerry Stahl, Ken Nordine, Dylan Thomas, Oscar Acosta, Leo Sayer and John Giorno, dealing with paranoia, shame and madness.

Tickets cost €20 for adults, €8 for youth or €1.50 with the Kulturpass and are available via LuxembourgTicket. For further details, see https://www.tnl.lu/high-fever
