Details:
Luxembourg Intellectual Property Institute (IPIL) of the Ministry of the Economy has announced that the 17th Luxembourg Intellectual Property (IP) Day will take place on Wednesday 23 April 2025 from 14:00 - 18:00 at POST Luxembourg (Bâtiment Helix, 38 Place de la Gare).
As is the case every year, this event dedicated to intellectual property will bring together national intellectual property authorities, experts, practitioners, researchers and businesses to discuss current developments in the field of intellectual property. Entitled "Intellectual Property in Entrepreneurship and Commerce: From Postage Stamps to Emerging Technologies," this year's edition will particularly highlight the strategic importance of intellectual property, regardless of the business models adopted.
This event will focus on the correlation between intellectual property, intangible capital and strategic assets from an economic perspective.
Particular attention will be paid to the challenges associated with managing intellectual property assets in the specific context of electronic archiving. This topic will be approached from a practical perspective, drawing on the experiences of Post Luxembourg and LuxTrust, providing insights for professionals who face these issues on a daily basis.
In addition, an update on current legal developments and best practices in the field of design in the BeNeLux region and internationally will enrich the discussions.
Finally, the conference will conclude with an academic roundtable discussion on the evolution of intellectual property in the era of new technologies. This opportunity for discussion will focus both on lessons learned from the past and the challenges to anticipate for the future.
The full conference programme is available at https://ipil.lu/fr/event/journee_pi_2025/?mtm_campaign=IP-Day-2025&mtm_kwd=evt&mtm_source=ban
