On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November 2024, natur&ëmwelt is once again hosting its Green Friday and Saturday event, as an alternative to Black Friday, at its shop in Kockelscheuer.
The focus of the two-day event is on recycling, exchange and Do-It-Yourself. Various workshops as well as a Swap Party (clothing exchange) for adults and children's clothing will take place.
Anyone wishing to exchange clothes can bring up to five adult and/or children's clothing items, in good condition and ready to wear.
A Bird Feeding Workshop will also take place in which visitors can learn how to make a seed muffin, a fatty food that is very popular with tits.
In the “Paper Workshop”, participants will discover how to transform recycled paper into an elegant gift bag. These workshops are suitable for both adults and children.
In the Nature Shop, high-quality bird and squirrel food, feeding stations, nesting boxes, books, educational toys for children, as well as information on how to create a nature-friendly garden will be available. Coffee and mulled wine will also be provided.
The Nature House (Maison de la Nature) in Kockelscheuer will be open on Friday 29 November from 08:00-17:00 and on Saturday 30 November from 10:00-18:00.
The workshops and the Swap Party will take place on Saturday, from 13:00-17:00. Prior registration is required. To register, email: reservation@naturemwelt.lu.
