The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) has announced that Dr Farah Alibay will address "From Montreal to Mars" on Thursday 21 November 2024 at 10:30 - 12:00 at the JFK building on the Uni.lu campus in Luxembourg-Kirchberg (29 Avenue JF Kennedy).
Farah Alibay works as an aerospace engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where she designs robots for space exploration. She was involved in NASA's Mars 2020 mission, which sent the Perseverance rover to Mars.
As a guest of Uni.lu's 'Women Leaders’ conference series, Dr Alibay will share her experiences as the daughter of Madagascan immigrants in Canada and the challenges she has faced throughout her career.
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) is an international research and innovation centre working on interdisciplinary projects with public and private partners. Its four strategic research areas are FinTech, Cybersecurity, Space Systems and Autonomous Systems. The research centre collaborates with the NASA via cooperation agreements.
