Details: Fundamental Festival Actor's Workshop with Lena Lessing
The Fundamental Mono Drama Festival 2013 is being held from 6 - 15 June 2013.
The festival has been running for three years, with this year's event featuring a workshop with Lena Lessing which is being held at the Banannefabrik (12 rue du Puits, L-2335 Luxembourg-Bonnevoie) on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June from 14:00 – 19:00. The cost to attend is €80 (Signing up to the workshop on offer allows unlimited entry to all festival shows).

This workshop is an attempt to brave all solo performers who have something to share on the stage. The organisers want participatants to find out what is unique about them and how they can best convey it by expression. What are the elements that need to be considered and what is variable? How to find the right rhythm and tempo?
Participants are invited to devise a 3 minute performance on the following topic. "Obituary for .... / We always remember him because ....."
It can be comically, tragically, politically or socially relevant, a farce, a joke, a lecture or else be natural. Style and content, form and design is up to you. It's not about the WHAT but the HOW in this workshop.
Lena Lessing is an actress (The Reader, Second Home, The Good Pope, etc.), Director (Dangerous Liaisons, Potsdam, Lottie and Lisa, Bern / Vienna) and especially an acting and dialogue coach (Michael Fassbender, Kate Blanchett, Nina Hoss, Dominique Raacke, etc.). She has worked as a coach for 20 years in Berlin, Zurich, Paris, London, Warsaw, Budapest and Rome.
Her passion is Art in any form. "What is the most exciting thing ever is when something imaginary is created and suddenly created a unique form of life before our eyes. It is so magic that you immediately afterwards are addictive. "
