Located in a former schoolhouse, this museum depicts the lives of the citizens of Vianden in the 18th and 19th centuries, tracing the town’s local history and cultural traditions. It features archaeological finds, historical objects and displays related to the famous Vianden Castle and includes a bakery museum and an exhibition about Luxembourg’s national poet, Edmond de la Fontaine.
