In the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 34th edition of the traditional Student Fair ("Studentefoire"), organised by Luxembourg's Ministry of Higher Education and Research, will take place for the first time in virtual format, on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November 2020.
This year's selected theme is "Your talent, your future, your job", with a focus on introducing visitors to career prospects in the education system.
On the virtual stand of the Education Ministry, final year secondary school students will be able to find out about the range of jobs offered: teachers, educators, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, specialist pedagogues, psychomotor therapists, etc. One highlight will be a webinar, on 12 November from 11:00 to 12:00, presenting the profiles sought in primary and secondary education, childcare facilities, support systems for students with specific needs and child welfare services.
The fair is open on 12 and 13 November 2020 from 09:00 to 18:00 and is accessible at studentefoire-goes-digital.lu.
