Flibco.com, a Luxembourg-based airport transportation company, has reported that it met with the Minister of the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles, on Wednesday 21 May 2025.
Flibco.com owners Marc and Jos Sales, along with the company’s CEO, Tobias Stüber, attended the discussion, which focused on airport mobility and the future development of this important economic sector.
According to flibco.com, the Luxembourg-based mobility company is receiving support from the Ministry of the Economy as it advances its expansion plans across Europe. With a stated aim to "digitalise and reshape airport transportation", the company is seeking to set new standards in a sector it described as having experienced limited digital innovation to date.
Since 2021, the mobility platform has experienced significant growth and has established itself in key European markets, flibco.com noted. It attributed this success not only to its digital strategy but also to what it described as a "modern, internationally oriented management approach". The company currently employs over 100 people from more than fifteen countries.
Minister Delles acknowledged Flibco’s achievements: “As Minister of the Economy and as a Luxembourger, I am proud to see how the startup idea from SLG has evolved into a pan-European mobility provider. We are following the company’s development with great interest and support the team led by CEO Tobias Stüber on this promising journey.”
Tobias Stüber, Flibco’s CEO, also highlighted the importance of employee commitment: “The success of recent years is the result of the outstanding dedication of every expert in our team. The fact that our work is increasingly being recognised and supported politically affirms our direction. Luxembourg offers a dynamic environment for innovation - our journey has only just begun.”
As reported by flibco.com, in a detailed exchange, Minister Lex Delles and CEO Tobias Stüber discussed the future of the European mobility industry, the opportunities presented by modern work culture and Flibco’s further expansion plans into new markets. This dialogue reportedly underscored not only the government’s interest in forward-thinking companies but also the significant scaling potential within flibco.com. The company added that it recently launched a new premium connection between London Stansted Airport and central London, where it serves as the exclusive provider on this route.
According to flibco.com, with further market entries in preparation and a clear strategic vision, the company remains on a growth trajectory – as “an innovative flagship of Luxembourg’s dynamic startup and mobility landscape.”
