The Luxembourg Paralympic Committee (LPC) will host the sixth edition of Paralympic Day on Saturday 24 October 2026 at the Rehazenter rehabilitation centre in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

According to the LPC, the day aims to introduce visitors to the world of para sport in a friendly and inclusive environment, bringing together people with and without disabilities through sport. The event will feature more than twenty different para sport workshops, with athletes and experts present to share their experience and introduce their disciplines.

This year's edition will feature four new workshops compared to last year: para taekwondo, goalball, para swimming and frame running. These will provide an additional opportunity for visitors to discover new disciplines and try different sporting activities.

The LPC stated: "Beyond the discovery of sports, Paralympic Day aims to strengthen the visibility of para sport, raise public awareness of the abilities of athletes with disabilities and promote inclusion through sport."

Another new feature this year will be the Beat the Heroes challenge. During the lunch break, participants will be able to test themselves against athletes through various sporting challenges.

The opening ceremony will take place at 09:30, before the official start of the event at 10:00. Entry is free.

Registration is optional and can be completed here.
