Rosa Lëtzebuerg and the City of Esch-sur-Alzette have announced that the second edition of the “Defile Urbain” (“Rebel Walk”) will take place in Esch-sur-Alzette from 16:00 on Saturday 26 September 2026.
The organisers describe it as “more than a fashion show, it is a cultural celebration of diversity, identity and freedom, connecting different cultures and communities” and welcome everyone to attend the free event.
As part of Esch-sur-Alzette’s "Esch in Colours" day, the Rebel Walk will take place on Rue de l'Alzette, which will be adorned with the colours of the rainbow, which organisers describe as a “visible sign of acceptance and protection of queer people, while the whole city comes alive to the rhythm of a celebration of diversity”.
The event will conclude with a live performance by dance-pop singer OKE.
