The Municipality of Niederanven has unveiled the programme for this year's open-air community festival Summerfreed series, which will bring live music, karaoke and open-air cinema evenings to Parc de l'Europe in Oberanven throughout August 2026.
The programme begins on Saturday 8 August with a Jazz & Blues Night, featuring the Naomi Jazz Trio (Luxembourg) at 18:30, followed by BG and the Rebels (Luxembourg) at 20:30.
On Saturday 15 August, the "Vinyl to Viral" evening will feature The Time Machine (Luxembourg) at 18:30 and Cosmic Clic (France) at 20:30.
A "Karaoke Night" is scheduled for Saturday 22 August, starting with a "Queen Hits" warm-up session at 19:00 before karaoke begins at 20:30.
The programme will conclude with two open-air cinema evenings. Film Mr Bean's Holiday will be screened on Saturday 28 August, followed by Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood on Sunday 29 August. On both evenings, food and drinks will be available from 19:00, with the films starting at 20:30.
A selection of food and drink vendors will also be available throughout the event series.
The event is free of charge and open to residents and visitors alike.
