Canopée Produktion asbl has announced that it is hosting an open-air festival, "Rendez vous au Jardin de Canopée", on Saturday 6 June 2026 from 12:00 to 21:00.

On this occasion, Canopée will open its gardens in Luxembourg-Pfaffenthal to the public and offer a programme featuring workshops, concerts, performances and guided tours.

Located next to a former rectory, the permaculture garden will host a festival dedicated to culture and creativity as part of "Arts et Potager", a programme promoting artistic practices and biodiversity produced by Canopée, and "Rendez-vous aux Jardins", an annual European event celebrating gardening and horticultural heritage.

Programme highlights include:

  • Djembe Workshop with Ebrima Mass (FR, EN), from 12:00 to 13:30; €5 or €1.50 with Kulturpass.
Participants will discover the rhythms of West Africa through an introduction to the djembe drum.
  • Macro photography workshop ("Rendre l'invisible visible") with Luisa Maria Stagno (FR, ES, EN), from 14:00 to 16:00; ages twelve and up; €10 or €1.50 with Kulturpass.
Participants will explore insect life in the garden using cameras or mobile phones. Filters and magnifying glasses will be provided.

  • The Stereos concert, from 17:00 to 18:30; free of charge.
The duo will perform pop music, classics and "audience favourites" from all eras.

  • Apéro DJ set by Schallimo, from 19:00 to 21:00; free of charge.
Inspired by his travels between Europe and Latin America, Schallimo's set will combine "organic grooves, warm rhythms and luminous melodies".

Other activities include a plant market running from 12:00 to 19:00 and free guided garden throughout the day - led by members of the Canopée team - in Luxembourgish, French, English and German.

The event is supported by the City of Luxembourg (VdL), the Œuvre Grand-Duchesse, the Fondation Sommer and Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture, in partnership with Oekosoph.
