The 3rd edition of the Awula Awula Festival will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April 2026 at Building 4, 66 route de Luxembourg, L-4149 Esch-sur-Alzette.
Awula Awula is the sound of the savannah meeting the voice of Melusine in the Alzette River: African Tales, even more vibrant, rhythmic, and rich in emotion. Prepare to immerse yourself in the magic of African tales, where words, music, and dance intertwine to offer an unforgettable cultural experience.
This is the 3rd edition of the festival that brings Luxembourg to life with rhythmic tales, laughter that travels, and ancestral wisdom. Stories that dance, rhythms that awaken the soul. From the savannah to the Luxembourg forest, a meeting of cultures that unites young and old.
Immersive workshops in dance, percussion and painting; captivating storytelling; readings; live concerts; African delicacies; and entertainment.
Two magical days:
- Friday 24 April: School groups (workshops and musical storytelling), starting at 10:00. Reservation required
- Saturday 25 April: Dance and percussion workshops for all ages, and painting workshops for younger children, from 10:00 - 17:00 (no reservation required). And from 18:00, captivating storytelling and dance performances and a live musical concert. Reservation required
