Printemps des Poètes Luxembourg has announced that the nineteenth edition of festival will take place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 April 2026 across several venues in Luxembourg City, including neimënster, Cercle Cité and Galerie Simoncini.
The event is organised by Printemps des Poètes Luxembourg with the support of Luxembourg’s Ministry of Culture and in partnership with various cultural institutions, embassies and organisations. It aims to celebrate contemporary poetry through readings, discussions and performances, bringing together poets from across Europe and beyond.
This year’s programme will feature writers from Austria, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Hungary and Luxembourg.
Irish poet Moya Cannon will take part in readings on Friday 17 and Sunday 19 April. Her work, which explores themes such as nature, history and human connection, has been widely published and presented at festivals and universities across Europe, Asia and the United States (US).
The programme will open on Friday at neimënster and continue throughout the weekend with a series of readings and events. Highlights include the “Grande nuit de la poésie” on Saturday evening, alongside a debate on the theme of freedom.
The programme also features a poetic morning session, live music performances by Emmanuel Fleitz and participation from winners of the multilingual “Jeune Printemps” contest.
