The Dots, a Luxembourg-based innovation and technology agency, has announced the second edition of EschTechWeek, which will take place from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 March 2026 in Esch-sur-Alzette.

According to the organisers, the second edition of EschTechWeek will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), exploring its applications, opportunities, limitations and societal challenges. Over the course of one week, the city will become a hub for innovation, bringing together citizens, professionals, institutions, start-ups, researchers, students and technology enthusiasts.

The organisers explained that the aim of EschTechWeek 2026 is to make technology more accessible and understandable to a broad audience, while highlighting local innovation and positioning Esch-sur-Alzette as a forward-looking and inclusive innovation centre.

Programme Highlights:

  • Monday 23 March – Opening Ceremony (by invitation): Official launch of the event;
  • Tuesday 24 March – Tech Supreme Court Junior: A mock trial addressing ethical questions surrounding Artificial Intelligence;
  • Wednesday 25 March – Tech Ecosystem Day: Conferences and round-table discussions focusing on AI, with a particular emphasis on HealthTech;
  • Thursday 26 March – TN’Teens: Interactive workshops for secondary school students, covering topics such as coding, AI, cybersecurity and virtual reality;
  • Friday 27 March – Bus Tour: Visits to local companies to showcase innovative projects and technological developments;
  • Saturday 28 March – Public Celebration Day: A festive programme featuring challenges, gaming, cosplay, interactive experiences and entertainment activities.

EschTechWeek 2026 is free of charge, open to all and requires prior registration. The event is aimed at a wide audience, including families, students, professionals, companies, decision-makers and anyone with an interest in technology.
