Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg has announced performances of The Rocky Horror Show from Tuesday 30 December 2025 to Saturday 3 January 2026 at the Grand Théâtre in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
According to the organisers, following its 50th anniversary tour in 2023, The Rocky Horror Show comes to the Théâtres de la Ville as part of its international run. Richard O’Brien’s rock’n’roll musical, described as a timeless classic and global phenomenon, has thrilled more than 35 million theatre-goers worldwide.
The show follows sweethearts Brad and Janet as they stumble into the eerie mansion of Dr Frank-n-Furter and embark on a journey of pleasure and self-discovery, set to iconic songs such as “Sweet Transvestite”, “Dammit Janet” and “Time Warp”. A satirical tribute to science fiction and B-movie horror, the production features dazzling costumes, high-energy performances and audience participation. Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the organisers said the musical promises an exhilarating and entertaining start to the new year.
