The collective Luxembourg Coalition for Palestine has announced the organisation of a peaceful “Global March for Palestine” to take place in Luxembourg on Sunday 28 September 2025 at 15:00.
According to the organisers, the march is aimed at denouncing alleged war crimes, genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing in Palestine.
On its website, the organisation stated: “While European and Luxembourgish leaders present themselves as defenders of human rights, they continue to look away from the catastrophic situation in Gaza and, increasingly, in the occupied Palestinian territories. It is time to speak out clearly and firmly against war crimes, against genocide and for the future of the Palestinian people.”
The organisers pointed to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where more than one million people have been ordered to evacuate Gaza City urgently ahead of a major ground offensive by the Israeli army.
The Luxembourg Coalition for Palestine brings together NGOs, trade unions and civil society actors committed to human rights, justice and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Participants in the march will also be invited to brandish a symbolic red card against genocide in Gaza.
