On Saturday 20 September 2025, the National Youth Service (Service national de la jeunesse - SNJ) will host the 18th edition of the “On Stéitsch” Festival at the site of the former abattoir (Schluechthaus) in Luxembourg-Hollerich.

Organised by the SNJ in partnership with the City of Luxembourg (VdL), the “On Stéitsch” (“On Stage”) Festival and provides a platform for young artists to showcase their talent and perform on stage. Over the years, “On Stéitsch” has become a true place for social and cultural exchange. The 2025 edition once again offers a diverse programme at the “Schluechthaus” site in Hollerich.

The festival begins at 14:00 with several stages hosting a variety of entertainment.

On the Open Air Stage, around 34 groups of artists will perform, including rappers, dancers, a poet and a freestyle football player, offering a variety of captivating performances. On the Band Stage, eight music groups from various genres, ranging from rock to grunge, will perform, and the DJ Stage will host a selection of DJs with sets ranging from techno to house and hardstyle.

In addition to the musical program, the SNJ has announced that there will also be a variety of interactive stands with activities such as dance, improvisational theatre, the “Smoothie Bike” and more. Skateboarding and parkour workshops will also be offered. 

Moreover, a special exhibition, created in collaboration with JugendKonschtWoch,  (Youth Art Week) will highlight the works of young artists in Luxembourg.
