The first edition of the "Festival des Territoires Résilients" (Resilient Territories Festival) will take place at Parc Gerlache and M-Tiss Café in Differdange on Saturday 4 October 2025 from 10:00 to 22:00.
Supported by the City of Differdange, Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development, Cooperation and Foreign Trade and a consortium of associations/NGOs, this new event aims to be a civic, festive and intercultural gathering where experts, associations, artists and residents come together to imagine, resist and co-construct solutions to ecological and social challenges.
On the programme for this first edition:
- Expert-citizen forums: interactive debates to (re)think the city of tomorrow (housing, food, mobility, ethical digital technology, education, imaginaries, solidarity)
- Association booths: exploration of ecological and social resilience solutions and projects
- Practical workshops for adults and children: food preservation, bread making, low-tech innovations, etc.
- South-North partnerships: inspiring experiences from Senegal, Togo and Burkina Faso.
- Entertainment and activities: concert by Baye Gallo & Band, DJ set and activities
- Southern cuisine: culinary specialties to taste
This event is set to highlight the strength of local and international cooperation and offer a unique opportunity for sharing between cultures and citizens.
