Natur&ëmwelt Asbl has announced that the Fest vun der Natur 2025 will take place on Sunday 15 June from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Maison de la Nature in Kockelscheuer.

The official opening will take place at 11:00 in the presence of Minister for the Environment Serge Wilmes and the First Alderman of the City of Luxembourg, Maurice Bauer.

For the event, the House of Nature will be transformed into a large family celebration focused on sustainability, with around 2,000 visitors expected. Admission to the festival is free. Proceeds from the “Fest vun der Natur” will benefit the projects of natur&ëmwelt, allowing everyone to contribute actively to biodiversity conservation in Luxembourg.

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities for all ages, including blacksmithing, beekeeping and sheep shearing demonstrations.

More than 40 themed information and sales stands will offer a diverse range of natural products, organic food, local goods and handcraft items. A play area and numerous children’s activities will also be available throughout the day. Natur&ëmwelt will also be present with its own information stands.

This year’s featured themes include the campaign “Bestëbser – Méi wéi Beien” (Pollinators – More than bees), and the “Urban Birds” project, which focuses on improving urban habitats for wildlife and promoting biodiversity in cities.

Among this year’s exhibitor highlights:

• A workshop on flower arrangement and willow weaving, offered by Kapenaker Blooms and Made by Marens
• The sale of organic vegetable and herb plants by Le Noyer Grand Potager Bio, and organic vegetables by Kass-Haff
• A special collaboration with CELL, offering a Repair Café: a space to repair broken items together and get professional advice

For the second year in a row, a large tombola will be organised, with many prizes donated by event partners, exhibitors and sponsors: from a bike provided by Cycles Arnold Kontz to gift vouchers for clothing, books and organic products – there will be something for everyone.

In terms of food, a 100% organic offering awaits visitors: grilled sausages, vegetarian and vegan salads prepared by the volunteer Kachéquipe, along with crêpes, waffles and ice cream for those with a sweet tooth.
