The Europa-Union Luxemburg Asbl (EUL), together with Europa-Union Trier and Pulse of Europe, have announced they are organising a hike in the Schengen area on Thursday 1 May 2025 starting next to Perl Railway Station in Germany (Hotel Maimühle, Bahnhofstraße 100) at 09:45.
The hike, described by the organisers as “a nice walk to celebrate free borders in the Schengen area”, will take place in the border triangle of Luxembourg, Germany and France. It will be suitable for all levels including families with children and inexperienced hikers.
Following the hike, lunch will be provided at Hotel Maimühle from around 12:30. The lunch is optional and each diner pays for themselves.
