The Regional Tourism Office (ORT) in Echternach for the Mullerthal / Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise has confirmed a number of activities it is organising over the Easter weekend.

New textile museum in Larochette, in two parts. The first part, in the former railway station in Larochette, illustrates the local textile history and the central role of Larochette in the rise of the Luxembourg textile industry. Restored machines, traditional production techniques and historical stories illustrate the importance of the sector in the region. The second part addresses the challenges of today's fashion: the consequences of fast fashion, the exploitation of workers and the social and environmental impact. At the same time, alternatives are presented through fair trade and Fairtrade certification, which guarantee better working conditions and a more ethical model. Free admission; access is via the Tourist Info Larochette (25 Chemin J.A. Zinnen). See www.textilmuseelarochette.lu
