Kass-Haff has announced its 2025 Open Day will be taking place on Sunday 4 May 2025 at its farm in Rollingen (87A rue de Luxembourg) between 10:00 at 18:00.

Described as “A Sunday celebrating nature and animals”, this annual festival is described as "a friendly, festive, and socially engaged day, punctuated by our unmissable "Bio-Second-Hand" market, concerts and artistic events, community booths, play areas, crafts and shows for children, encounters with farm animals, not to mention a delicious 100% organic restaurant offering on site".

The 2024 edition attracted nearly 1,500 visitors; this year again, the organisers are expecting a large and diverse audience from casual visitors to regulars, (re-)discovering the vibrant and inspiring world of Kass-Haff.

A unique place, combining farm, education and social connection, Kass-Haff is much more than a farm: it is a small ecosystem where agriculture, education, culture and ecology meet. Founded in 2013 based on an extended community model, the farm works to connect citizens — both young and old — with the living world through an educational, sensory and participatory approaches.

Parents of four, co-founders Tom and Anja envisioned a place where children, teachers and families can freely reconnect with the land, animals and everyday activities. Here, every visit is an experience: learning by observing, tinkering, playing, tasting, asking questions and leaving with stars in their eyes...

The rich and multigenerational programme includes:

● The "Bio-Second-Hand" market
● Concerts, shows and artistic activities
● Play and craft areas for children
● Community and awareness-raising booths
● Meet the farm animals
● Organic products to taste and take home

The event is organised with the support of the Frënn vum Kass-Haff non-profit organisation, which actively coordinates this annual event, and with the participation of numerous local partners, such as: BIOG, Naturata, Bio-Lëtzebuerg, Etika, Mokidi, GreenFox, Lilynatur, Waldorf School, Vitalschnuffen non-profit organisation, Niessen Catering, Sunnen-Hoffmann Cellars, Addi a Merci and many others.

Kass-Haff welcomes around 50,000 visitors each year, whether they come for a workshop, a walk, an event or simply to shop at the on-site organic store. This unique space functions as a rural third place, open to society, transitions and future generations.

Car parking and free shuttle buses will be available from the P&R CFL Lohr (Mersch) and Veräinsbau (Rollingen), due to the large number of expected visitors.
