The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that the annual "Inclusion Gala” (Gala Inclusion) will take place on Friday 16 May 2025 at the Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
VdL added that this annual event focusing on inclusion, is one of the City's initiatives to raise public awareness about special needs. It is also one of a series of actions aimed at supporting and showcasing the talents of people with special needs. This gala aims to give individuals with special needs an opportunity to show off their talent in a range of disciplines including music, drama, poetry, dance or any other form of artistic expression.
VdL announced that it is issuing a call for musicians, artists and associations working in the field of special needs, as well as associations that offer culinary specialties, in order to enrich the event with a diversity of cultural and culinary offers. The objective is that the gala will be a place where people can come together and share their experiences at an event that celebrates creativity and inclusion.
Conditions of participation:
- performances on stage are open to groups and solo artists (music, dance, singing, theatre, poetry). Musicians must bring their own instruments and equipment;
- catering stands with culinary specialities (savoury and/or sweet miniatures) are sought. Dishes must be prepared in advance but there is the possibility of reheating the dishes on-site;
- an artistic exhibition will be open to painters, photographers, etc.
Individuals and/or associations interested in participating in the Inclusion Gala can send their application to the VdL Integration and Special Needs Department, no later than Monday 31 March 2025 via email: integratioun@vdl.lu or via telephone: 479-64150, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.
VdL advised that the applications received may be retained for the organisation of other City actions in the area of integration and special needs.
