The Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg has announced details of the forthcoming "Yôkoso - Bienvenue au Japon" special event week which will take place from Wednesday 29 January to Saturday 8 February 2025, at the Belle Etoile shopping centre in Bertrange.
Visitors will be able to enjoy traditional and modern Japanese culture, cuisine, arts and crafts at the many stands. Exhibitions and workshops of ikebana, calligraphy, manga and bonsai are also on the agenda.
Japanese cuisine and drinks will be available both at food stands and shops inside as well as at food trucks (Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki and Donburi) in the Belle Etoile car park.
Demonstrations and performances of concerts, martial arts, tea ceremonies and Japanese traditional dances will also take place.
Information on Japanese culture and tourism will be available at the Embassy of Japan stand.
Registration in advance is required for some workshops.
