The Dots, a Luxembourg-based innovation and technology agency, has announced the launch of Luxembourg’s first Citizen TechWeek, taking place from 31 March to 5 April 2025, in partnership with the City of Esch-sur-Alzette.

According to the organisers, this unique event aims to transform the city into a true hub of technology and innovation, offering citizens of all ages unique opportunities to explore, learn, and enjoy activities centred on tech-related topics.

Week-long Programme Highlights:

Monday 31 March – Opening Ceremony: The event kicks off with an official opening ceremony to welcome participants and set the stage for a week of tech-focused activities.

Tuesday 1 April – Tech Supreme Court Junior: “Social Media Edition”: A day of debate simulations and awareness workshops designed for young people, focusing on the social and ethical challenges posed by modern technologies.

Wednesday 2 April – Tech Ecosystem: “Esch City of Tomorrow”: A full day of discussions between experts and industry professionals, featuring conferences and panel sessions to explore the innovations and tech projects shaping the future of the city.

Thursday 3 April – TN’Teens: A specially curated programme for young people, offering hands-on workshops, hackathons and opportunities to meet tech professionals. The goal is to inspire the next generation to consider careers in technology.

Friday 4 April – Bus Tour & Tech Cinema Night:
Daytime: Guided tours of partner companies to discover their activities and innovative projects;
Evening: A night of films and video games with a tech theme, tailored for cinema and gaming enthusiasts.

Saturday 5 April – City Centre Activities: A day filled with tech-related events and interactive activities in the heart of the city, wrapping up the Citizen TechWeek on a high note.
