I AM WOW Leisure Centre Opens at City Concorde

On Saturday 14 December 2024, the doors of City Concorde's new leisure and entertainment centre, I AM WOW, opened to the public.

This new centre, which will employ 20 people, is situated on the lower ground floor (-1) of the shopping centre. It includes a bowling alley with seven lanes, snooker tables, a shuffleboard, foosball table and two indoor pétanque/boules courts.

Speaking to Chronicle.lu at the (pre-)opening party on Friday 13 December 2024, Bertrand Lecante, Director of City Concorde, expressed his delight at the opening of the 1,400m2 centre, after three years of planning and preparation. He said he expects I AM WOW to make the shopping centre even more attractive for families and the wider public, of all ages. He confirmed that adapted bowling equipment for wheelchair users, as well as bowling ramps for young children, are available. He noted that the 140-seater restaurant and bar offers a rich and varied international cuisine. Outside terrace seating will be available in the summer.

Parking is available in City Concorde's car parks. There is a bus stop at the Garden Plaza entrance, located beside I AM WOW.

Opening hours are 11:30-22:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:30-01:00 Friday and Saturday and 10:00-20:00 on Sundays. There will be a DJ playing on Friday and Saturday evenings from 20:00 until closing.
