The City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) has confirmed that the twelfth edition of the MusiqCITE event will take place at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg (33 Rue Charles Martel, L-2134) on Friday 6 December 2024.

Starting at 19:00, amateur music groups will showcase their talent on stage and entertain audiences with music, dance and singing. After the concerts, the VdL will host a reception where guests can discover international products and food.

Lineup

- BELLE BANDURA: Natalia and Nadiya, an acoustic duo from Ukraine will play traditional folk music on the bandura instrument;

- FOLKSYNC: a dynamic duo fusing Indian folk dance with modern Bollywood moves;

- SAPALI KEURGUI: a Senegalese traditional music group, who carry on the traditions of the griots and share their culture through music, dance and song;

- JUAN REYES Y EL MARIACHI SABOR A MÉXICO: a Mariachi band playing regional Mexican music.

The event will begin with a welcome speech by Corinne Cahen, the VdL alderwoman responsible for social action and integration. Carisa Delgado will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.

The concert lasts approximately 90 minutes (no intermission). A live broadcast will be available on www.vdl.lu.

This annual gathering is part of the VdL's series of events to raise awareness related to integration. Such activities aim to encourage exchanges between people of different nationalities and cultures, to promote diversity and to highlight the importance of taking the intercultural aspect into account in everyday life.
