The Grevenmacher-based band “Spirit of the Highlands, Pipes & Drums” has announced it is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary, with various events to be organised throughout 2024; the next special event planned will be on the second weekend of July.
On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 July, the biggest event the band ever organised will take place in Grevenmacher. A cosy afterwork is planned on Friday from 17:00 to 22:00, including a performance by the Spirit of the Highlands, Pipes & Drums, followed by DJ Animation. A big party is set for Saturday from 15:00 until after midnight. There will be various kinds of performances throughout the day, with the Celtic rock band Claymore headlining in the evening. A food village will also be available on the day.
Admission is free on both days.
