The Office Régional du Tourisme Région Mullerthal – Petite Suisse Luxembourgeoise (ORT Mullerthal) has announced details of what is being organised in the Mullerthal over Easter.

The ORT Mullerthal is reaching out to both tourists from abroad as well as from within Luxembourg, promoting stays in Luxembourg's Little Switzerland.

The medieval castle at Beaufort is open again from 7 April; the Renaissance castle can be visited only in small groups by appointment: after the castle tour, one can enjoy the Cassero, the blackcurrant liqueur still produced in the castle cellar - children are offered a delicious juice. See https://beaufortcastles.com

Local hiking trails start directly opposite from the castle, on the car park (B1: 10.6 km, B4: 6.1 km or B7 11.6 km).

The Berdorf Aquatower stands at a height of 55m from where one can enjoy breathtaking scenery; the water exhibition is very interesting too. The hiking trail B2, 4.2 km long, starts at the local tourist information in Berdorf. Another very spectacular hike, especially for children, is in Consdorf where the local hiking trail C2 (4.2 km) starts from Consdorf Gare and takes one to the dark rock crevice of Kuelscheier.

On Easter Sunday, 9 April, Echternach hosts its "Car-Sonndeg". Vintage cars and old motorbikes can be seen on the market square, between 11:00 and 17:00. The oldest city in Luxembourg is also a great place to stroll; for those who prefer a more sporty walk, take the 13.1 km long E1 local trail starting at the Basilica which takes one to the spectacular Wollefsschlucht gorge.

From Echternach it is only a few kilometres to Rosport, where a visit of the Musée Tudor is worthwhile. This interactive museum is about electricity and lead accumulators and one can do many interesting experiments with electricity. After the museum, start right outside the door the hike to the beautiful Girsterklaus Chapel on the Auto-pédestre Rosport, 9.9 km.
