The children's rights department of Luxembourg's Ministry of Education, Children and Youth will organise its traditional children's rights discovery day, "Kannerrechtsfest", at Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg this Sunday 25 September 2022, from 09:30.

Throughout the day, entertainment, games and information stands will be set up around the park. This year, the event is devoted to the right of the child to live with both parents.

The Education Ministry's partner organisations will be available to answer the questions of interested parents and children. These include: Ombudsman for Children and Youngsters (Ombudsman fir Kanner a Jugendlecher  - OKAJU), UP Foundation, Eltereforum, Eltereschoul Janusz Korczak, Initiativ Liewensufank, Zentrum fir politesch Bildung (ZpB), Kannerbureau Wooltz (KABU), Kanner-Jugendtelefon (KJT), the school mediation department, ECPAT Luxembourg, BEE SECURE of the National Youth Service (Service national de la jeunesse - SNJ), Bientraitance, Association Luxembourgeoise de pédiatrie sociale (Alupse), Familljen-Center, AFP Erzéiungs- a Familljeberodung and SOS Kannerduerf Lëtzebuerg.

The event takes place outdoors at Parc Merveilleux. Admission is free for children; normal park entry prices apply for adults (online ticket office: https://www.parc-merveilleux.lu/).
