Luxembourg's National Lottery has announced that the EuroMillions jackpot reached for the first time in its existence the record amount of €230 million for the draw on Friday 8 July 2022.
The previous threshold of €220 million reached in October 2021 will be exceeded this Friday.
However, the €230 million jackpot is a ceiling for this cycle and if it is not won on this Friday, the jackpot will remain for another four draws for the same amount. If at the end of these five draws it has not been won, it will then be redistributed to the lower rank.
For try outs, lottery participants have to validate EuroMillions slip at one of the 450 National Lottery sales outlets or on the website www.loterie.lu until 20:00 on Friday 8 July at the latest.
The National Lottery recalled that for more than 75 years, the entire net result of the National Lottery has been donated, through the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, to charities in the social, cultural, environment and sport-health and memory.
